1. SPROUTED SAJJA UGGU / BABY PORRIDGE
Ingredients:
* 100 ml water
* 2–3 tablespoons Sprouted Sajja Powder
* Ghee, as required
Method:
Mix the powder with 100 ml water until lump-free. Cook on low to medium heat for 5–10 minutes, stirring continuously, until a smooth, thick consistency is achieved. Add a little ghee before serving.
2. SPROUTED SAJJA JAVA / PORRIDGE
Ingredients:
* 200 ml water
* 3–4 tablespoons Sprouted Sajja Powder
* Ghee, pepper and salt, as required
Method:
Mix the powder with a little normal water until lump-free. Add to 200 ml water and cook on low to medium heat for 5–10 minutes, stirring continuously, until the desired consistency is achieved. Add ghee, pepper, salt, or dates powder according to taste.
3. SPROUTED SAJJA VEGETABLE SOUP
Ingredients:
* 300 ml water
* 3–4 tablespoons Sprouted Sajja Powder
* Vegetables of your choice
* Ghee, salt and pepper, as required
Method:
Lightly sauté your choice of vegetables in ghee. Add 300 ml water and the Sajja Powder mixed with a little normal water. Cook on medium heat for 10–15 minutes, stirring continuously, until the desired soup consistency is achieved.
Add ghee, pepper, salt, or dates powder according to taste and serve warm.
4. SPROUTED SAJJA DOSA
Sprouted Sajja Powder can be used as a rice replacement in Dosa batter.
Method:
Soak 1 cup urad dal and use 2 cups of Sprouted Sajja Powder as a rice replacement. Add a little poha for extra softness, if preferred. Grind into a smooth batter and ferment overnight. The next morning, prepare soft and nutritious Sajja Dosas.
5. HOMEMADE SAJJA SNACKS
Sprouted Sajja Powder can also be used to prepare a variety of homemade snacks and other recipes according to your preference.
