Baby Porridge Preparation (6+ Months)
Ingredients
* 2–3 tablespoons Janvika’s Sprouted Ragi Flour
* Less than 100 ml water (for approximately a 200 ml serving)
* 1 teaspoon Ghee (optional)
* Salt only if appropriate for the baby’s age
Method
1. Add 2–3 tablespoons of Sprouted Ragi Flour into less than 100 ml of water.
2. Mix well so there are no lumps.
3. Cook on low flame (Sim) for 5–10 minutes, stirring continuously.
4. Once it reaches a smooth porridge consistency, switch off the flame.
5. Add a little ghee before serving if desired.
6. Add salt only according to the child’s age and your pediatrician’s guidance.
Important: Since this flour is fully sprouted, it naturally becomes thinner while cooking. Therefore, use less water than regular ragi flour for the best consistency.
